Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and time-conscious Draftsman to join our technical team in Port Moresby. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming complex engineering and architectural blueprints into detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD. Work Environment:
- Primary Location: Head Office in Port Moresby.
- Travel: Occasional travel to project sites may be required to monitor progress or conduct surveys.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical Documentation: Create, edit, and maintain detailed architectural and engineering drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, and structural details) using AutoCAD.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure drawings accurately reflect technical specifications and project requirements.
- Site Inspections: Conduct occasional site visits to Port Moresby and surrounding project locations to take measurements, verify existing conditions, and ensure site work aligns with approved drawings.
- Quality Control: Ensure all drawings comply with Papua New Guinea building codes and company standards.
- Document Management: Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all project drawings, revisions, and "as-built" documentation.
- Time Management: Manage multiple drafting assignments simultaneously while adhering to strict project deadlines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with Revit or Civil 3D is an advantage.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of drafting experience within the construction or civil engineering sector in Papua New Guinea.
- Time-Driven Mindset: Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality outputs within tight timeframes. You must be exceptionally time-conscious.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in technical detailing and spatial visualization.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and coordinating with site teams.
- Education: Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, or a related technical field.
