Job Description

The Inventory Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records for the company. This role involves overseeing the receiving, storing, and issuing of materials, as well as conducting regular stocktakes and ensuring compliance with inventory management procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure data integrity. Manage the receiving, storing, and issuing of materials. Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Ensure compliance with inventory management procedures and safety standards. Coordinate with other departments to meet material requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field; certification in inventory management is a plus. Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution environment. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze inventory data, interpret trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions. Good communication skills for coordinating with others on site. Physical health is paramount for this role, as you will often be required to work in demanding environments and schedules.
