Job Description

The Welder daily job includes interpreting blue prints using various welding techniques, operating fabrication machinery and perform quality control. Welder will assemble and repair mental structures ensuring safety protocols and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal structures, components and equipment. Weld and join metal pieces using various techniques. Repair and modify existing mental structures and products.

Requirements & Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma or equivalent apprenticeship or associate Degree is desirable. Prior experience in welding role and construction industry is highly valued. Additional certifications in field or related can be advantageous. Read and interpret blue prints, technical drawings and schematics. Operate and maintain various fabrication machinery such as plasma cutters, grinders and other hand and power tools. Cut and shape metal materials to specific dimensions. Perform quality inspections on finished welds and products to ensure the meet specifications and industry standards. Ensure all work is performed safely following all relevant protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective Equipment (PPE). Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and stay updated on new techniques. Physical health is paramount for this role, as you will often work in demanding environments.
